Mata Lal Devi ji was born on February 21, 1923. Lala Harjasmal Marwaha and his wife,   Mrs. Maya Devi.

 She was born in Kasur, Pakistan. Kasur city was built by Lord   Rama's son Kush. Bawa Lal Ji of Dhyanpur and Baba Bulleh Shah Ji also born here

 Her parents were Lala Harjasmal Marwaha and Mrs. Maya Devi. She was named   Lal Devi because of her radiant complexion, like the rising sun.

Her mother, Maya Devi, had divine visions of Gods and Goddesses before her birth, foretelling Durga's arrival.

She refused her mother's breast milk and was fed the milk of a Kapila cow. She gave up solid food and lived solely on fruits for   the rest of her life.

Her birth brought an end to many family sufferings and crises.
